In the heat of the night, NOT.

Train ride to Paris from Belfort went smooth for the most part, as we had luggage and a bike it was a wee bit challenging. Though we met many other triathletes heading to Paris struggling with their bags and bike as well.

After a very slow taxi ride from train station we arrived at our apartment and enjoyed the lunch we made in Belfort with a glass of vino.

Decided to head to the tower as we are like 5 blocks away, to get our bearings. Line ups were long but not ridiculous, we passed nonetheless and headed down a major street called St. Charles. Located the bakeries we will be visiting over the next few days. And a good old fashion American coffee.

Made our dinner early then headed out to cross the bridge adjacent the tower for the lighting.

Well, we did want to see the tower lit up but we were freezing and headed back to room. Tomorrow is a full day so time for a good Parisian snooze.
